Re: Safestyle Uk????

Not long after I met my future wife I was hunting for double glazing and rang SafeStyle as it was the first name that popped into my head. £5,000+ for four windows and a door, and knowing little better I thought that must be OK.

Barbs then told me she'd got the windows and doors on her whole house done for £2,100 six years previously by Sureframe in Accrington so I ended up going with them as they had done an excellent job. SafeStyle wouldn't give up though and immediately said they could match the new price of £1,900.

Why not just quote me that first then? Worst Google Page Ranking move they could have made with me.

Buy local, it's usually the best option.

Its surprising just how many people are taken in with these so called national companies with mass TV advertising campaigns. To me though the safestyle BOGOF ad would be enough to ignore them altogether, it gets on my nerves. Its just the same with these fitted kitchen and bedroom sharks, the other have was quoted £12000 for a kitchen which was 10 ft square and I was there when the rep gave her the price, suffice to say she didn't take him up on the offer:rolleyes:

Ken

couldn't agree more we received 3 quotes for Double glazing including one from Valley Windows at haslingden who came in measured up gave us a price which was very reasonable said it's a fair price and not open to negotiation its entirely up to let me know if your interested. He told us he didn't advertise and most of his custom was by word of mouth

His quote turned out to be the cheapest but we were impressed with the guys honesty and was proved right by his product so much that we recommended it to the in laws

what safestyle dont tell you in the adverts when spouting the bogof thing is that the windows have to be like for like - as in the same size windows at the back of the house that are at the front - how many houses actually have this?
not many terraced ones in hyndburn thats for sure..
total rip off..

When i lived on Blackburn rd in Haslingden the front of the house was two storys but the back was four.
One of the ones (can't remember which) came round that promised buy the front get the back free. Had him hooked till i showed him the rear, babbled some excuses then left. :D:D:D:D

To be totally honest its pretty darn good. :alright:
Admittedly theres probably sections of the company that are not as good as the section im working in, but i have to say being a canvasser for them has been awesome so far.

Been treated brilliantly by the bosses and the whole atmosphere at the office is nice and relaxed, i know its cliche but it really is like a lil family.
