Local Car Boots ???
 

Hi
Does Accrington still hold its car boot/market on the market on Thursdays?
Is there any local places that hold regular car boots over the weekend? (I have seen Blackburn car park mentioned but got no info, Clitheroe also used to have one ever Sunday, is this still going?).
I am trying to have a clear out.

Well the blackburn one won't be there for long, they are pulling it down soon, accy is monday, thursday and sunday

Yeah, has done for years now, i'm sure someone will come along and give you the details, i think people prefer to call it a 'Sunday market' nowadays, but it all amounts to the same, people selling their own junk

I think Gisburn has one on Sunday's but not sure when it starts, it's only on so many weeks a year. signs advertising it are upat the side of the road. but that's all I know.

Accrington is also on Wednesdays at least for this week. I think it's £2.50 per stall

think they should pay stall holders at least a £5, yeh can't get a pint fer £2-50 in some pubs.:D

Here we go again.

Economic recession = Unemployment up.

Unemployment up = Burglaries up.

Burglaries up = Car Boot sales up.

There is one at Clitheroe auction market every Sunday, also in Haslingden (on the bypass).

Sunday market in Accy £12.40 uses market stalls so under cover don't need table and has electric might not make as much as some but its very convenient easy to load and unload and you get your stall so don't need to get there at crack of dawn Thursday is i think £13.40
