I don't think Trickett's ice cream could be licked.

Mr Trickett sold out in 1966 to a chap called Riley . He also bought a milk round and gave them to his two grandsons, to bne based at the top of Fielding Lane-Broasdfield.

There is no Trickett's Ice Cream business in the phone directory.

Birtwell's was the only ice cream that possibly licked Trickett's

To be quite honest I think tricketts was the best ice cream I've ever tasted, and it was made locally, don't know if anybody remembers another two outlets that made there own ice cream, Moxhams near the town hall, next to what was the Nat West Bank at one time, and there was a lady who served her home made ice cream from her lobby on catlow hall street, right opposite St Paul's Church, Mrs Laycock, both these made very good ice cream in their day
