PPI Claims

Hi,

After having a meeting with my bank to sort some things out they advised me that the credit card that I had (with another company not them) had PPI on it and that I was well within my rights to claim it all back.

I have had the credit card for approx 6years and paid £17 a month PPI so this could come in handy if I do get it back.
I know, I am useless with my fianances and really should look at my statements but I dont have the time! :o

My question is has anybody on here called one of these companies that advertises on the TV that claims PPI back for you and if so who's good and who are the ones to avoid?

Thanks :)

My understanding of these companies is that they will rip you off.
It is not that hard to do this yourself, here is a guide with everything you will need.
PPI Reclaiming Guide: £1,000s for mis-sold loan insurance...

I would find the time, after all you could be in line to reclaim over £1200.00

Ii the card you want to claim back a Halifax one?
If not you would need to contact the company that issued the card like entwisi did. His was a Halifax card so he spoke to them direct.

Re: PPI Claims

The claims companies are charging typically 25% to 35% of the claim, only yesterday the FSA have advised customers to do it themselves.

On the other hand I am a Financial Adviser who is helping people with their claims for a fee of 10%. :egged:
