best value laptop repair place :-)
Hiya all,
Looking for help, or being pointed in the right direction. My laptop ' jack' , the bit that the charger plugs into has come loose inside the laptop and so it won't charge properly. Its quite an old Acer lappy, so not worth fixing if it costs loads Can anyone advise the best (cheapest!) Place to take it? Thanks all xx |

toshibas are worst because the support goes brittle and snaps so its either buy a whole new base cover or glue the port into place acers on a whole have a good sturdy setup but leaving the charger hanging pulling on the port or yanking it around when plugged in will dammage even the most robust. onlyme i sent you a pm if you send me the model number from underneath ill get you a rough idea on how much you should be paying because all teh shops around here go to the exact same places i do for my parts its the fitting they sting you on and like to exagerate how hard it is to get at the part when infact its very easy |
