Lunch

At the recommendation of a friend in Blackburn, I've been advised to visit this site. I'm looking for a good chippy for lunch tomorrow, when I will be hosting members of the Tripe Marketing Board in Accrington (and doing my best to plug my book, Forgotten Lancashire).

Any suggestions?

Church Street Chippy.

Very good food, and assured of a warm Accy welcome.

Yep, those two lads are right on the money, Derek.

Incidentally, I see that the Tripe Marketing Board are swinging into action!

Thanks for those suggestions - looking forward to trying them out. We're not sure whether we'll be lunching in Accrington or Blackburn at this stage.

Yes, Wynonie Harris - I've told them to get their finger out and plug my book for a change!
