Am I the only one?
 

Surely, one or two of you are watching what's going on in the Vatican City. Am I the only one who is more interested in the dump duck sitting on the chimney, than in what's happening inside the Sistine? And am I the only one who is waiting for it to have a massive you-know-what?

Well Eric I didn't quite understand what you meant, however I caught the news yesterday, several men in hi vis where putting in a chimney for the the black/white smoke.
No scaffolding for the height, no cat ladders to take the strain.
A bloody good examplea of a cowboy job to me.
Surely they shouldn't have settled for the first estimate?

It's the gull (dump duck) sitting on the chimney ... a lot of folks are thinking more about the white "stuff" that might come out of bird's ass, than about the white smoke. I'm feeling a little bored and sober today (I'm gonna start working on that soon); so, little things like waiting for a bird to take a massive dump in front of millions of the faithful world-wide has me sitting on the edge of my Lazeeboy.;)

Well, that's a shocker ... Pope Francis ... may be a good one. I'm glad they went outside Europe. Still, at 77, he's a little long in the tooth ... and a Jesuit. That could be a problem. Probably one of the better of a bad bunch.

Jesuit, they're supposed to be TT Eric, although I once knew a priest called Father John who was a Jesuit, but could knock the pints back in the Foxhill with the best of um:D

Good friend of mine, the late Father Bob Ogle, SJ, MP liked his pint too. And he was a socialist, elected as a member of the New Democratic Party. Great guy. First rate scholar. Fantastic sense of humor.

Just staggered past my local Macdee's what appeared to be white smoke was coming out of their rooftop vent, (it was probably the last bit of nutritional value from their French fries), however I did for a moment wonder if they'd already started selling Pope burghers.

Don't worry Mr. Health man, I don't suppose you will have to spend the remainder of your budget checking for his DNA this guy is from Argentina (do they remember 1982? I doubt they can get around it with an attack like this), Mcdees claim all their stuff comes from U.K. or Ireland.

apparantly the black smoke isnt to say they havnt yet decided on a new pope but the burning of the previous popes condoms

white smoke means its all clear bring in the new guy
