Barbara Feilding I think..she ran with Accy Roadrunners in her later years.

When I lived in Hassy Barbara's Aunt lived next door, when I moved back to Ossy she used to come in the Stop and Rest, she once brought her bow and a target into the lounge to let us have a go. In fact there were quite a few Foxhill Bowmen drank in the Stop in those days:)

Bottom of Warner Street, Cashy.

He cut my hair on the morning of my wedding, 4th June 1966

Trouble was, I hadn't told anyone that I was going for a haircut, & the in-laws thought I'd absconded!!
(No mobiles back then!)

There was a Barber, by that name, who had a shop in the 1940's, about 200 - 300 yards down on the left hand side of Henry St (coming from Blackburn Rd) just before either Barnes or Edward St I'm leaning towards Barnes St (my memory fails me at times).

Hi,
I can recall in the fifties and sixties a barber on Warner St. with the name of "Bacigalupo".

Cheers

Philip Kenyon
late Belfield Rd.

I think you're wrong there C. The chap you are referring to was called Eric Bernasconi. I worked with him in the early 70's for a couple of years at Clayton Goodfellow Engineering at the bottom of Audley Range in Blackburn. I remember him telling me he worked at Lang Bridge before it closed down. We had some good laughs with Eric, I remember the stammer.
