I will, forgotten all about it, thanks for reminding me. I`ve only been a couple of times, but the food was very nice. If I remember right, the menu tells you which farm or butcher they got the meat from.

Another nice out of town place to eat is The Swan in Whalley. Had many a nice meal there. It`s also a good sign when you go somewhere to eat, and they`ve closed the kitchen because they`ve ran out of food, which has happened quite a few times at The Swan.
It`s also been a while since I`ve been to The Swan, so I don`t know what it`s like now.

the best chance you get of getting fresh vegetables away from home would be a pub that does lunches that ISN'T part of a chain and independant

no idea where you will find one though but you could ask around for good pub grub then ring and ask if tehy use fresh or frozen

when my dads cousin owned the stop and rest its food was excellent but that was a long time ago now lol

Or you could come here for a while, where I am, Moorhead Rest Home ... all fresh vegetables lol. x
