Charter Street

Can someone confirm that Charter Street has been moved ?.

Just read in Observer online and quote:

"Joshua Ramshaw, 20,ran up behind Chaz Sharman and threw a punch at him while on Charter St in Accrington town centre last April 2012" unquote

Charter Street

Well, fear not, wherever Charter St is, help is at hand.
http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk...slamic_school/

With a shariah Council in place no-one would dare break any of the laws they put in place.

Just wondering though, why are they even contemplating this Council?
Doesn't our legally elected Hyndburn Council treat everyone equally?

Spring Hill school . directly across the road , will not be pleased .

Still it's just at the bottom of my street .

So there is a mosque at the top of the street and there may be an Islamic school at the bottom . So if I can't beat them join them . :D

I'm no advocate of Shariah law, but sometimes I wonder if a legal system with a little more "bite" than the one currently in use may be more effective. In fact the more I think about it, the more our Islamic fundamentalist fellow travellers and elements of the British right wing in politics may have in common after all.

Don't understand that comment potentially this could devastate Spring Hill Primary. The press article also indicates that the school will be for ages 3 upwards therefore it would also impact on Fairfield Childrens Centre, Hyndburn Park and all the High Schools that draw pupils from the asian community

Is there a shortage of primary school places in Accy? There certainly is in Leeds, a serious one.
