ERM. Not all all. After my friend died last year of heart attack at 46, I would rather not know someone that died every time I might browse an obituary

Some you might miss because they use their married name, & a lot like us have moved away from the area.

I wouldn't say disappointed, more like 'relieved'.
My mum always read the obits page first when the evening paper arrived and I once asked her why. Her 'profound' reply was.
" well I'm just relieved not to see my own name'. I suppose there's something very Freudian about that comment!!!
