Re: Best GP?

They are all good docs at the practice.
Samantha Prout is excellent and I would choose her or Graham Smith.
This is only because I worked with Dr Prout and I know Dr Smith from the fact that he looks after Ma(in an exemplary way)

Thanks Margaret. Much appreciated.

They're both really good doctors and are the ones I prefer though they're all very good.

Looks like we cannot register at the Ossy practice :( We are 1.4 miles away and the receptionist said it is out the catchment area but she is asking. Waiting for the call.

Had an appointment with Deena at myrtle house yesterday
Told her about this and the other thread
She said the other nurse ratchel was leaving next week
So that's yet another nurse gone

Have you had the paper work yet about extra hours at Myrtle House and online appointments? My wife was handed them when she picked up a prescription yesterday.

Rachel leaving? I don't think there are many originals left.

Still waiting for call back, been a week now almost. I am in a bit of a situation, so need things to get moving. Hopefully they may ring today.

I have never been treated so rudely as I have with a specific GP at Myrtle House - I won't single out the GP, but I will be taking the matter further as soon as I can.

Doctor Dixon treated me for 20 years - and was fantastic - I think he would be very disappointed to learn my situation and the current downhill trend.

I rang twice last week to speak to a doctor and on both occasions I was rung back after morning surgery.

I changed my GP when Dr Manuel retired.
I moved house in 2013 and so was able to join Gt Harwood medical practice.
Last friday night I requested a home visit, using email - she arrived midday Monday - fast response!
Last July they visited same day - excellent service.
They have online services which I am in the process of signing up to.

I guess I am going to have to try Accy Vic since no other Doctors have been mentioned here.

There is a new thing where you can now register at any surgery you want, the boundaries are not a limiting factor anymore - however the surgery has to agree to it. It came into force January this year.
