Re: Washing machine dilemma

I'm with you, Margaret, re phones. Mine is used for making and receiving calls and messages. Full stop.

However, talking about machines well I’m sure I wasn’t put on this earth to dust, and in a dusty house like ours dusting is the scourge of my life. So I would like someone to invent a machine that will do the dusting all by itself without disturbing anything on the shelves.

In the meantime if I don’t look up I won’t see the cobwebs and if I don’t put my glasses on I won’t see the dust…..

…problem solved.

The soap dispenser is fine just need that front facia in graphite
The one in the first pic it the one we need
If you look at the second photo on the eBay link you put on of the back of the facia you can see a little grill the little strip of plastic above that grill is the bit that has snapped off it supports the drawer in a small grove

What about aralditing the soap dispenser to the door so it won't matter the supporting piece is broken off?
It will get it working again for you until she decides she's having a new one anyway. You must know that a new one is in your very near future :)

It seems a sensible option to me.
Just think that you could have paid over a hundred quid for a repair and something else could fail next month.....so if you knock the cost of the repair off the price of whatever machine you get......It will seem like a real bargain.
Check out AO for their deals......Nicola got a washer from them and it was a real deal....they delivered it quickly too.

Neil, I think he knew this, but was clinging onto faint hope....Which in the end turned out to be no hope!

A wise man knows when he's beaten! Mate, you were rounded up, backed into a corner & thoroughly trounced! :D

It happens to the best of us, I'd now be skulking & sulking in me "Man Den" licking my wounds, muttering curses & imprecations about the "Owd Baggage" while slurping a consolatory sherbet. ;)
