Disgusting littering

Is there somewhere to report this disgusting littering?

I walk this ginnel everyday to and from work and I just don't get it. Over time it's just got worse

Here is a video on my YT channel I took of it

Re: Disgusting littering

Rob is that the path between Blackburn Road and Winckley Road?
If it is then the litter is not actually on the path but on the land enclosed by the fencing.
It should be brought to the attention of those who own the land.

I would be sending that video to the Hyndburn council and the environmental health.

I walked along that path recently and the biggest rat I have ever seen was calmly walking on the other side of the fence totally unconcerned by my presence.

I know Clayton Park pies is their feeding place and they do have traps down but the rats get wise to them and avoid them.

I really do not understand people’s disrespect for their surroundings.
Would they throw their litter onto their carpet at home?
Maybe they would.

Yes it is the path that goes towards "chequers" and the ironically named "hygiene" I haven't walked the opposite side that goes alongside the bakery

Send those pictures to the council and to Sarah Britcliffe…..and see if it stirs something up.
Rob it is not as bad for litter near the bakery, but it is bad for rats….the bakery has rat traps on the periphery, it rats soon get the idea that those are killers and avoid tham.

You are right it is a disgrace and needs sorting out.

I have had a response from Sara.

Sara has been in touch with the council who have examined the litter in question.

The land owner(if it's still the same person that owns it on the register has been sent a letter and given 21 days to clear the litter)

Well Done Rob.
