Log In & Out Query
 
Still trying to find my way around -- but just one question at the moment. Do I have to Log Out after a session ?

It all depends on whether other people have access to your pc. If they do and you have not logged out, then they will be able to make posts in your name without you being aware of it. And that could cause all sorts of problems for you.

Aye, I don't log out as I'm teh only one who uses my laptop. If you share a PC it is good practice to log out of all sites just to keep it in your mind for those that really matter like banking etc( I know banking sites won't keep you logged on but make sure you don't save passwords etc for them either.

Just to add a note to this if you dont log out your shown as still online and if someone sends you a pm they will be wondering why you have not sent 1 back

oooh Mick....I didn't know that. I don't log out because there is only me uses this machine........so I had better get my act together!
