fawcett family descendants

Hi I am researching my family tree and would love to hear from anyone who thinks they might be related to a fawcett family of accrington they lived there from 1890's and came from liverpool. the family was a large one with many children. some of whom are called william, tom, frank(an accrington pal) charles, nanny, annie, jessie, ellen and no doubt some others i dont know. Jessie married a robert wilcock in approx 1920's. I am a fawcett descended from william fawcett. Anyone who think they may be linked then please email me. I have found out that jessies had sons 2 of which are called vincent and desmond born in 1920/30's

I have met Vincent and Desmond although Vincent sadly died a few years ago, my mother was adopted but she was their cousin. I have done some research into the family tree and touched a little into the Fawcett's

I am ex-wife of Graham Wilcock, Vincent's son. Vincent died in 2004 and I believe Desmond has also died. I will get in touch with Graham and find out more details. Vincent's ex-wife is still alive and living in Accrington, she is now 88 years old.

There has been a posting on the Lancashire family History Society's forum in the past 2 weeks about the Fawcetts. Rita Hirst of Haslingden (?) posted it. Was it for you?

There's only one Lancashire Family History (& Heraldry) Society. Note the capital letters. I agree with you that there are several family history societies ( no capitals here) within Lancashire. None of the societies' sites are pay as you go. The pay as you go sites are commercial concerns which contain some Lancashire material. I shall make no reference to your (lack of) use of commas and stops.

It looks like you will have to subscribe, Dobbo could have cut, and pasted the Fawcett bit, to see if it was any use to you.
