Elizabeth Ann Hindle
Hello!
I am searching for any information regarding my great-grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Hindle. She was born in Accrington in 1859. Her father was Thomas HIndle, and her mother's name was Elizabeth. My great-grandmother traveled to the States in the 1880's. Unfortunately, I have no information regarding her or her family, as she died giving birth to my grandfather in 1900. I would love to be able to find information regarding Elizabeth Ann and her family. I know her father and her brothers eventually moved to the States, but I have no record of her mother. I was hoping to travel with my mother (Elizabeth Ann Hindle's only grandchild) to England this spring to research, but my father's health prevents us from going. Any information or ideas regarding information would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Anne Roller |

Elizabeth Ann Hindle
Hi, have been to library today for you.
I found three Elizabeth Hindles mentioned, but only one is in the right period, and even thats not right! There is an Elizabeth Ann, but she is the daughter of Abraham and Alica, who died No 30th, 1914, aged 64, making her born 1850, so sorry, that trip wasn't very successful. Do you by any chance know anything more about the father, Thomas. Was he a manufacturing chemist, and did he come from Salford, do you know? Atarah |
