Urgent help needed to trace a friend
 

Does anyone have any idea how to trace a missing person?
My ex brother in law has just died suddenly and we need to trace an army pal of his called Vincent Scott, all we know is he would be about 45/46 and possibly from Doncaster. All the sites I have googled seem to want payment and I wondered if anyone could think of any other way.....:confused:

Do the Salvation Army still trace people,,It might be worth a try...Good luck anyway

Are there no websites for finding ex-army personnel? Might be an idea if there are any, hope you find him

May be worth seeing if there is a similar radio station to Radio Lancashire and putting an appeal on if there is.

there are a few sites where you can trace ex-army, think forces re-united (forcesunited.org.uk) should help, especially if you know unit etc

Have you tried a name search on Friends reunited, I've also been told this week its free to email.

Thanks guys, we don't have much to go on yet, without going into too much detail we can't get into his flat yet, forensics are still in there . Hopefully we will have more info when we can, ie army number etc.

Nope sadly not on that occasion but I have made contact with a friend I haven't seen for 25 years thru asking on here , small world isn't it?
