Re: BROCKHALL HOSPITAL 1960s
Can anyone help!! My uncle (whom i have only just found out about) was instituionalised in Brockhall Hospital as a child. Around 1945ish and lived there till his death in 2004, aged 65years. His name was Henry Collier. Does anyone remember him, i have found one picture of him in his later life and he was quite tall, good build, dark hair and looked a really nice man. i know very little about him or why he was sent there, how can i get any more information about him? also does anyone know where inmates were moved to in 1994 when the hospitaal was closed or how i can find that out? i am his next living relative, so i have next of kin rights i assume to his records, i just don't know how to go about finding them. did any staff remember him? i only wish i'd know 3 years ago so that i could have visited him.

Re: BROCKHALL HOSPITAL 1960s
Is there anyone out there who knows anything about a man Tom Hindle. He worked att Brokhall Hospital 1954-1955 maybe longer. He will be about 75 years old now. He lived in Blackburn. My mother, born in Denmark worked there at the same time. Her name is Inge Petersen. I know that Tom had a friend George Garett there. George's father worked at the gate or entrence to the hospital. Please kontakt me if you know anything about Tom.
