hi just thought id let you all know that, the internet is not all bad it has helped me find a friend that i had not seen for 42yrs, & it was through accy web :emotion-3 i was reading some posts one day & i thought , this person sounds familiar, so i sent them a private message, & lo & behold it was my friend who i lived next door to when iwas a youngster growing up in church, you can imagine our delight at finding each other & not only that she met another friend from this site too, & if you look on night life & events bank hol saturday you will see us on there nattering our heads off, so thank you accyweb. you really are a star:emotion-3

has anyone else found some friends on this site that they didnt think they would ever find again?

Hehehehe, it was lovely to see you and Pendy chatting your heads off. I met Sparkologist on here, and we had not seen each other for 20 years, since leaving school. He remembered us both being hauled into the headmaster's office in the 5th year to be told off for dossing when we should have been studying, I'd forgotten about it. :D

Not only a friend, but our Margaret, and Bernard .... and Joyce .... Keep 'em coming! Back definitely end of month, so be warned, youse lot .... still got loads of beer left from Monday (full case of Carling, if anyone's a lager fan). Many thanks to whoever left the cans of Caffreys and the wine .... didn't notice it until Tuesday (mind you, I wasn't noticing a lot on Tuesday morning apart from the gorilla effects (ask Mez) .....

As you are no doubt aware, dossing is merely procrastination, taken to an artform. We happen to do it professionally. :p
