Friends of Glenys Wilkinson
 

I'm just letting people know who knew my mother - Mrs Glenys Wilkinson - married to the late Gordon Wilkinson - from the Peel Park area of Accrington. Mother of Lorna, Claire, John and Ian.
Mum died on Wednesday 26th November - suddenly in The Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Funeral is Friday 3rd Dec 2.20pm at Accrington Crem followed by food at Whittakers - Burnley Road.
Flowers etc to Hyndburn Funeral Services.
Hope to have Mum's friends there - who have maybe lost contact with her after my Dad died.

Sorry about your loss, Gingerninga. Just wondered if you had an auntie June who passed away recently ? She was a good friend of mine.

If so, knew your dad, but never met your mum, except maybe when you were little and in your pram.

Sad time for you.

Thanks Katex - yes it was my Auntie June who passed...I went to her celebration earlier this year..as well as 3 others - Mum's will make it 5 in the last 6 months.. I hope my Mum has a good send off - she deserves one. She was one very special woman..well she had to be to put up with us lot and my Dad! Thanks again for all the well wishes from everyone. x
