Accrington Web - What happened to Michael Brereton?

Does anyone know what happened to Mike Brereton who played guitar with the Warriors, the famous 1960s Northern rock group from Accrington? The Warriors also included Accringtonion Joh Anderson, famed musician in the internationally successful rock band YES.

Mike Brereton was previously Head Prefect at St Mary's School on Moscow Mill St, Oswaldtwistle. We had ongoing animosity between us because when he wrote my name in his prefect book (no doubt well deserved) I would thumb him and he would then report me again. This resulted in a vicious cycle of name in prefect book...thumb him...name in prefect book again...thumb him again. Poor Michael didn't deserve it and I always admired is fortitude and resolution for standing-up to me. Where are you now, Michael? Fifty three years later: my apologies:)
