i lived at number 70 or 72 from 1971 until 1975

Wasn't allowed to go that far in 1977 mind I was only 5/6.

70/72 is the block to the left of Ormerod Street

I lived at 151,opposite to bycold there was also a bakers aswell.

That is a few streets down from were we were,richmond hill st came in between.Was there a hardware shop on ormerod st and hope st.

Go up Major Street from Richmond Street.As you get to the cross road with Higher Antley Street it was on the corner

If you go on Google maps to that junction and put the little golden man on there you can see were the shop was. There is a blue car parked outside. If you look above the house window you can see a row of stones which were above the shop window

Martin Lance Taylor. A tall powerfully built gent born 1959 ish, a submariner in the late 70's. Nicknamed after an Addams family character to his friends. Lived at no 15 I think, long time ago.

Hi Shaz. Peter was in my year at primary school,
Did see him a few months ago in Asda , not sure if he would have remembered me. I do know the area you are describing, I lived up Fern Gore in my younger days.

Went to Hollins,it was St Peters primary school, I don't remember Carol, perhaps she was older I left St Peters to go to Hollins in 1977

I left hollins in 1977, peter was in the first year at that time,he was a ginger with freckles but havent seen him since 78 when my family moved to Denmark.He probably doesent remember me now but thanks for the notification. regards shaz...

Hi Shaz, used to deliver papers to Higher Antley St and around that area from 73 to 76 ish from the paper shop on Ormrond St. My cousin lived on that St about then and I left Hollins in 77, probably know you.

Hi Acky 252,I think ste beardsworth owened the papershop across from the bookies on ormerod st aroujnd that time.Yes we probably do know each other,I always wore a Rovers scarf,and a red rose on my school blazer.Mention some names you remember next time you write and your own,nice to hear from you regards shaz...

Hi Shaz, sorry got years wrong, I left in 76 ( getting old) real name Michael Wood. When I did the paper round the shop owner was Rodney Ulm, I think thats how you spell his name. Gary Lushman did the papers with me & two girls who lived at the Ormrod St end of Richmondhill St the eldest was called Janette. Take care mate.

Hi Everyone,

I use to live on Ranger street, went to Hollins School between 73-77 and then moved to Aylesbury to finish my schooling. Use to deliver milk with Alan Pilkington for pocket money and also did the market stalls for Kali. Would love to get in touch with anyone from that era. Made contact with david Glasgow last xmas through facebook.

I now live in Geneva.

I used to Live on Higher Antley Street but towards Willows lane end, Name is Gary Lushman if anyone remembers me I was paperboy from 73 -76 then joined army in 77
