Was HFE something to do with the cause of death? I think it has some connection with cancer but the medically qualified among us would have more idea.

Visited Accringtron on road home from Cotswolds on Holiday. Very taken with how friendly people were. Had a fall out domestically nd was unable to go to see what Vine House on union road oswaldtwistle was, as Alice died there aged 93 in 1998. Anyone able to advise. M

Well Willow, I've come close to being medically certified a few times however, I've never heard of any-one dying of HFE but alot of us are destined to die in one!

For future reference HFE= Home For the Elderly.

Thanks for that. I only have a gap from the early 1950's until the late 1990's to fill in. She worked as a care assistant, presumabley in a Nursing or HFE establishment. Died of heart problems as did her partner but some 47 years later. >
