I would like those instructions entwisi if I may.

I asked a young friend of mine this question some time ago but the only reply I got was that it was possible, no details on how to do it.

Re: C.D.wanted

You need a hifi with a line out socket(usually marked Tape Record).

A cable from this to the line in on your Computers Soundcard (probably 2 phono to 3.5mm stereo jack ~£5 at most)

Set the record playing and using some software(there is freeware on Tucows, Audiograbber is excellent http://www.tucows.com/preview/193549.html) record to WAV(Better quality but 10x bigger file sizes) if you want it on CD or MP3 for playback on your PC/iPod etc.

Job done. YOu can 'fiddle with it to remove clicks etc and cut it into individual tracks if you choose.

Re: C.D.wanted

That would be a lot better than the way I do it but my record deck doesn't have a line out so I have to do a hop skip and jump via a tape which records internally from the record and then plonk the tape in another player which records CDs. Very messy and not very satisfactory.

Does your turntable have phonos or is it a single unit Willow? If it has outputs you can 'fudge' it a bit.
