Glass Door Tracking.

HELP!

My step-daughters have decided that they need an addition to the family in the form of a pet snake! No problem for myself or Willow but the price of vivariums scare me to death.

I am making my own but am having problems finding a supplier for the plastic tracking that the glass doors are fitted into.

1) Does anyone know of a supplier in the area? or:

2) Does anyone have a sliding door cabinet with tracking that they are trashing or selling at a cheap price so that I can dismantle it for the tracking?

Tried a few DIY outlets but no luck.

Aaaw snakes are lovely. How can you not like them? We were offered a cobra in Tunisia. Draw the line at that!

What kind of snake is it that you have/are getting?

I have none now but I did enjoy keeping them, they were funny, especially when they get loose for weeks on end and the neighbours are fearfully asking daily "Have you found them yet" :D !

Haven't tried there yet but Busman haas now been deterred by the cost of the glass so may end up not doing a DIY job after all.

We are thinking of either a cornsnake or a king. We saw a gorgous king snake a couple of weeks ago. It was so friendly...........maybe a bit too friendly as it tangled itself in my specs chain!
