The Queen nearly saw my flagpole this week as her helicopter flew past my bedroom window, on it's way from Blackburn to the Ribble Valley.


I managed to get it back under the duvet just in time.

Ahhh get you now! ;) Right, I want one of those long things first then I'll decide what I'm going to do it with it. Up to now I think I'm going to shove the long thing in a tight hole ........... I think the official 'man term' is a flag pole bracket like this

Looks like we are gonna have to improvise or ask the window cleaner for ladders to reach the big telegraph pole ......or if we are really lucky accost a fireman to borrow a big pole or get a firemans lift:rolleyes: :D
