Sorry Mick, Neil, I've just had a visit from a Council delivery chap and it seems I have no legal right to offer the gates as it was a delivery to the wrong address on the councils part.

It seems that the wrought Iron gates, and 147 tons of top soil substitute, (he hadn't put that on the wagon that day, because he thought it looked more like second hand tarmac!). Where a gift from the Councillor Britcliffe memorial fund, to the Friends of Rhyddings Park as part of the refurbishment plan, when I pointed out to him that this was a bit previous as Cllr Britcliffe is still very much alive, he said, "Yes but the lads down at the depot still hope for the best!".
