I also have an amiga 1200 but not with the hard drive. How much for the hard drive? And don't be taking the p*** cos I have a pcmcia to ide converter so don't actually really need it! (but workbench preinstalled sounds good to me).

Yes, i was obviously leathered last night and of course meant 2.5" to 3.5" ide converter. What is it with going on the computer when absolutely leathered and then talking sh**e?

The hard drive is not for sale on its own its in the A1200

who or what is a atari  ??? never heard of it or him ;D

Atari 520ST  No Hard drive just half a meg of memory and a 720k disk. Logged onto the Internet about 10 years ago with above system using a shell account that allowed me to use Pine for mail and news and Linx for text only web browsing... 350 quid a quarter phone bills.... ahhh them where the days...NOT

This was while all the Amiga users where playing games on there foot warmers :)

No wonder people can't understand when I sigh at them just after they ask if a pentium4 with 20 gig HD is enough for them to go on the internet.... tsk

Yes i was on the internet with the above A1200 very good for graphics to
but my phone bill was not that hight owing to the fact the amiga was a lot faster than a st520 is the same as A500.
at that time harddrives worked out about £1 per meg now ist about £1 per gig
how things change  :D

There was no such thing as an a1200 when I had a 520st.. it was an amiga500. By the time the a1200 came out the atari falcon was out.. much more impressive :)

they where and still are As far as I know..... you dont find many amigas or ataris in pc world tha knows :)

These is still a section in mocromart dont see atari though
i used to sell amigas on accrington market made quite a bit before i had a heart attack :P
anyway they were both good m/cs in there time

with regards to the add                                             amiga for sale  there is also a monitor to go with it and i can probably find a printer too :o

Just thrown an Amiga 1200 with monitor & printer etc etc in the bin...even the bin men didn't want to take it!..but, it was the only way I could get shut of it! :-/
