Crash Helmet Required

A cheap crash helmet urgently required as I am about to do my "Easy Rider" thing after 30 years on four wheels :D med adult size, - And are there any waterproof overtrousers out there please?:o

Busman, I would NEVER encorage anyone to buy a second hand helmet. Decent helmets start at ~£50. The other thing you need to think about is the quality of fit a poor fitting helmet can be more dangerous than not wearing one. Even different manufacturers fit different shaped 'heads', Some people fit one make better than another. Get yourself to somewhere like Clarkes, Dixons, or if you are preston/manchester way Hein Gericke and try them on. Get someone in teh shop to advise you.
