Almost Free!
I have 30 odd - 2 feet square concrete flags available to anyone who wants to come and take them away. They are currently laid amidst the jungle that I call a back garden, where a shed used to be and a bit of a poor man’s patio. That’s just a grand name for a flagged area that catches the sun for most of the summer day.
As the title states they are almost free in that whoever wants them will be required to hire one of them soil rotovator things and attack my garden with it. You hire the rotovator and I will reimburse you on production of the bona fide receipt. If that doesn’t ring your bell I will come with you and pay the fee but you will have to transport it to and from my place. The deal will depend on the hire fee, as I have no idea what it is likely to be. Maybe someone would be kind enough to quote a typical fee. There is a limit on what I am prepared to spend on my garden so if it is too high for my pocket then sorry but the deal has to be off. The garden is about 30 feet by 15 feet and overgrown with grasses and has been for a number of years so it could be turned over in one day. Please either answer here or PM me and we can exchange phone numbers and talk about it. Much obliged someone! |

I almost forgot.
Brews, as you like them not as I THINK that you might like them, will be supplied on request. That means that I supply all the ingredients and utensils and you make the brew yourself to your liking. |
Re: Almost Free!
So basically its like this...
Someone comes round does your garden for you and makes brews themselves and you give them some stones. WOW ill do it! |
Re: Almost Free!
Have you got plans for the garden JamButty?
|
Re: Almost Free!
Yes WillowTheWhisp I do.
Once it has been turned over and more or less levelled out a bit, my plan is to sow meadow flowers and poppies. (No I’m not going into competition with Afghanistan) The far right corner where a tree overhangs when if full leaf would be ideal for blue bells. Somewhere in the middle I would have a bunch of crocuses surrounded by snowdrops and few bunches of daffodils here and there. Failing that if anyone wants to use my back garden as their own to grow vegetables we can do a deal. 5% of the produce. |
Re: Almost Free!
The wild meadow garden sounds like a lovely idea. I'm thinking of someone who may be able to help you out rotavating but I can't promise anything until I've enquired and I don't know if they would want the flags - no it isn't Busman, He already has too much to do and too little time to do it in. :D

Re: Almost Free!
There is nothing like a meadow garden for getting the bees, butterflies and things in. Insects bring birds.
Thanks for the possible offer. |
