Wanted - decent sized saucepans

Looking for some very cheap medium sized saucepans - 2 or 3. If your going to take any to the charity shops because you have a new set or you have too many, please let me know and I will be willing to pay a couple of quid per pan if they're the right size!

Wanted for a 4 week course I'm gonig on and I don't have any of my own and I didn't want to pay argos price (yes I'm too cheap to pay £7 for three cheap quality pans from argos) in case they fall to bits or something!

Will come and pick them up myself so they wont need to be posted or anything.

Thanks.

Have you tried the Asian shops like Pennine? They are even cheaper than Argos.

It's on Higher Antley St (off Ormerod Street).

I've tried the charity shops already, every single one in accy town centre and the one in oswaldtwistle.

I've not tried the asian shops though willow. Which one is ormerod street? Is that the one that leads down towards globe centre? I could have a walk up there but I wouldn't know where I was going! Higher Antley street does sound familiar though.

Start at the left hand side of the Globe Centre and walk upwards (That's Ormerod Street) turn left into Higher Antley Street and Pennine is housed in an old church type building on the right.

Hmm I am trying to picture it. Is it past victoria street when you walk up or before it?

Probably - I don't think it's close to a bus route unless you walk down from Accrington Road.

Another AccyWebber comes up trumps - that's what I love about this forum, being a bunch of locals there's usually somebody comes to somebody's rescue. :)

The saucepans arent for the course, the saucepans are to cook whilst I'm there. And I'll still have internet access so dont get your hopes up.

I'm very impressed.

A student who intends to cook, rather than live on take-aways.:D

Oh gotcha - these are just spare pans so your Mum can carry on cooking at home with her pans while you're away. :)
