WANTED filter for fish tank
 

i'm in desperate need of some sort of filter for mi fish, i got rid of all my tropical and now have just goldfish in my tank, the under gravel filter decided to pack up on me, i think i need one of those that you stick onto the side, the fish tank keeps turning a lovely shade of green and it keeps smelling(having to change the water every 3 days)

has anyone got a spare one they dont need anymore?

The meat pie is quite tempting , im sure they have them at shops or even on the market however ive got a really strong strong filter which cost alot , however i think we through out the little goldfish one :) Lol sorry

lee this is a rather big tank, hold 5 buckets full of water, it aint a small pidly thing

ahh i see , well my best bet is a fish shop , however u posted on freecycle im sure someone has a spare one flashy :)

Have you thought of getting a couple of cold water plecs they eat the green stuff you will still need the filter though.

When we had goldfish they were hard to find in preston and when i did find some they were expensive but that was a while ago now.

Didnt think about that mummiboo thats a really good idea! I have a tropical pleck but forgot about plecks though :)

cheers for that, i know all this techman, ive had tropical fish for years(only just got rid of them) lol, i only want a filter, goldfish are messy little gits

I used to think that flashy, like when you go to the funfair and we would always come back with a fish and my parents always used to say there more trouble then there worth. And they always used to die they day after :)

they are more trouble than they are worth, but these buggers wont die, ive had them 3 years

Hehe , i would advise you to look for proffesional goldfish killers but i dont think you can find them in the yellow pages ;) :D:D Hehe
