gas fire

flavel emberglow gas fire, good working order, £25.00

Re: gas fire

has it been used ?...if so I hope it was taken out by a corgi gas fitter otherwise the warranty on it is nil and void - its illegal to instal and uninstall a gas fire in your house if your not a professional gas fitter - its also very dangerous...

but if its new and not used then thats a bargain...

glad to hear it was done by someone registered and sorry to hear what happened to your friend but that has nothing to do with what I am talking about...and if you would like to go down that road I had 2 friends pass away due to a faulty gas fire being fit by a rogue fitter, I also work with gas fitters/fires on a daily basis and people come into my work weekly who have fit fires and are not registered...it makes me angry as they have no care for life - only to get paid for the botch job they have done....
no offence meant..
and as I have already said - bargain price for that fire

See, this is what i meant when its people in this web page that will go to threats just to **** off the ones who are doing it, glasgow guy, im sure that broadhurst knows what his doing and if he doesnt then im sure that whoever buys the gas fire then will know, im sure broadhurst is not gonna rip off the gas fire knowing that somethin dangerous can happen, so why dont you let the person sell what they selling without making comments like that.
God!!! some people makes me angry

God!!! some people makes me angry

and who exactly is being threatening  - and for the record the person buying the fire may not know the law in regards to buying a second hand gas fire - do you know the law in regards to it ??
and I never said for one minute that broadhurst would be ripping anyone off - I have said twice that the price being asked for the fire is actually very good as flavel is a good name and a good fire,
and "comments like that." - which comments may you be talking about
and just like you have said 'God!!! some people makes me angry'

And to be honest the seller could have mentioned that the fire was uninstalled by a corgi fitter thats allowed to fit/uninstall fires as you have different levels of corgi registration - some fitters can fit them, some cant, some can do boilers, some cant and so on or they may be all singing and dancing corgi fitter - if so then good, and they could also have put down that it may or may not still be under warranty and to be super clever they could also have mentioned whether it was natural gas or lpg and what colour the fire is - bronze or black ? etc..
by me asking the question may have saved someone else asking it - would you have had a pop at them too ?

didnt realise the buy, sell and swap section had its very own police dept.

have you really now...well why dont you go and do something with it rather than try to start arguments when there is nothing to argue about...there is absolutely nothing wrong with what I posted before you replied and nothing wrong with what I posted to your reply...I am still waiting on your reply in regards to what you said about being threatening and also about the 'comments like that'...
its not my fault the original poster didnt put anything else on his post...and I dont see why once more you have to stick your tuppence worth in...

and what was wrong with my post that prompted you to to tell me to get a life ? I thought it was pretty fair...if you going to sell something at least give all the details and info about it...kinda helps..
