wouldnt trust loot , best bet is going to rspca i heard and saw they had lots of cat last time i went there. Im sure they will have one. This may not be helpfull but worth a try :)

I would have no hesitation in recommending that you take a drive out to the coast and visit "Cat John" and his wife Kath. They run the most fantastic cat sanctuary that I've ever seen and we have two cats from there.

Tell him that Suzanne from Blackburn recommended you. They ask for a £30 donation if you take a cat/kitten.

I can't begin to tell you everything about this place, they have a tv and radio in each room for the cats, who live a life of luxury in purpose built chalet style accommodation. He even employs people to sit and play with the cats, not to clean them or feed them, he does all that himself! A lovely, lovely couple who each deserves a medal!

There's also Moggies in Darwen, one of the girls I worked with got a kitten from the lady who runs it and she said she'd recommend anyone wanting a cat to have a look there. If you're interested I can get more details when I'm back in work on Tuesday
