never understood the facination of people owning firearms of any description. The rise in gun crime and the recent tragedy in Liverpool should mean anybody caught in possession of a gun or knife without good reason should be an automatic jail sentence

Its only an airrifle and most people that use these use them carefully! And use them as a sport also. Just because of other individuals killing people and harming people with guns shouldnt spoil it for people who have a big intrest in them and enjoy using them carefully and for a purpose! :)

There is..........and there's no good reason to have either on the streets. But as a occasional farmer both have there uses at times.

Not really. A full legal power 12 foot/pounds air rifle has a rabbit kill range of only about 30 yards. Any more than 30 yards and you are more likely to only injure the rabbit.

Unless you mean it looks the part. You can not carry them in a public place unless their are in a suitable bag or case so you should not see one walking down the street.

That is the sort of uneducated attitude that many people have. Gun crime has risen to the crazy level it is now since hand guns were banned. What a ridiculous wast of public money that was with no useful out come.
