Sorry whoever is selling laptop, I would not buy one with Windows Vista in it. You can buythem with Windows XP Pro Home edition, but they cost £590.00. IBM Levono. Up your's PC World who say you can't buy anything without Vista, liars.

The word pedantic springs to mind,at no time did I say that only you cannot get XP on other machines, people that play on words can be tiresome as I myself am guilty of it, I at least know my own shortcomings or think I am aware of them.;)

I anyone is looking for a laptop or pc you can get a good deal at Brighthouse for cash,they have several or had for sale with light usage. trade come back's. they had an Acer the exact same model as was for sale on here in the Accrington branch it was £320.00, the manager said they had many more I f I was interested to just ask.

Your post stated that you can get laptops with XP on but they cost £590 and are IBM ones. That is not true so I wasn't being a pedant. I diodn't play on words, I corrected what you said that was wrong. if this is a problem then we will be in a right mess if people believe evreything posted as gospel. There is far too much misinformation around for that to happen.
