how are they on living outside? or would you need space indoor?

broadhurst7173 25-10-2007 08:40

Re: french lop babies

mine live outside no problem, as long as their hutches are cleaned regularly and they have plenty of bedding, i also put a cover over the hutches through the winter, hope this helps,

I dont think you got that option to delete the post. I'm sure it is down to whoever is moderating the site

If you are a shop you need a license to sell animals, does this apply to other people?

You are quite possibly correct with that. Just by way of info. The forum rules No.16 clearly states that the selling of animals should not be done.

Heres a link to the rules I just found http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...mer-29681.html
have to admit I'd never seen them before , I usually just click on the new posts ;) ;)
just a suggestion, maybe the thread could be renamed as "Forum News and Rules"
thanks

I would bet my bottom dollar that a lot of people haven't read through the rules if they are honest enough to admit it. Someone has posted (unwittingly something that was against the rules)and been contacted by a mod it really is nothing to do with us so should be left well alone IMO.

It's certainly a thought mate, I doubt many would take up the option to read it through...then again ;)

I shouldn't think so because there are often animals for sale ads in the vets.

the thing is in my garden which slopes downwards i've got a perfect place to put a hutch in

the only things puttin me off is the impending winter, the lodgers who leave the back gate open and the amount of attention they mite require.

if you are a shop or breed for buisness then yes you do need a licence if its just a hobby or you breed a couple of times a year then no hence the term licensed breeder. kennels and catterys that breed need licenses, hobby breeders dont, although i think they should it would stop a lot of cruelty, only two left now and i wish i hadnt posted at all, there is a lot of negativity to each other on the forum.
