Fireguard & Safety Gates required

Hi ,
Was wondering if anyone has a childrens fireguard (need 2 of them )and / or a safety gate knocking about for a resonable amount. Can collect from the hyndburn area.
Many thanks :)

Speak to Homewise (at bottom of Avenue Parade).

They provide you with a fireguard and two gates free of charge, and fit them too.

They are not free, but alot cheaper than buying them from somewhere like Argos,Mothercare etc....
You pay £20 for either 2 gates and a fireguard or 2 fireguards and one gate.....BUT on this website it says the scheme finished in March this year....(they may have continued though)
The catch?I got them last year and if i remember rightly i had to prove i was on benefits (which before anyone says anything, i am NOT on now)

Hiya, Give me a shout if you need any, I do need to dig about for the connector pieces tho.

OH AND BE WARNED, I have the Lindam safety gates and my son could open them by putting his thumb into the lock part and 'popping' the lock from being about 18 months old. I am in the middle of getting argos to put safety warnings against them in the catalogue etc, cos although Lindam website has a guid saying do not leave unsupervised, Argos had nothing.

Think I have given birth to future houdini....

Its not that, kids are very cleaver and sometimes we dont realise how much, i got 2 lindam gates at home and although he hasnt learned how 2 open them yet it wont be long, i have realised that when i open the gates he looks at how i do it mmm i think its getting ready, i have a mothercare gate downstairs and its brilliant, u have to make holes 2 fit it in but so far is the best one i hadhttp://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...ons/icon10.gif

I wouldnt mind but he doesnt even open them the 'proper way', where the catch goes in, the pops the lock as his fingers are small enough to go in! In fact he does that quicker than I can open the normal way lol
