5/6 year old, small dog required
 

Looking for a small, jack russell type dog or similar for companionship elderly man. Anything considered, very good home provided.

Have you tried rspca. They tend to have a lot in, very reasonable to buy aswell. Worth a visit.

we got our dog from here and he is the most loving loyal thing you could hope for, id recommend them anyday of the week, all they ask is for a small donation which goes towards the upkeep of the dog whilst its been there...theres a couple of small terrier types there now :D

Was those kennels used be called Glencoe kennals or is that further down??? Got the best doggie i ever owned from there due to circumstances he went on to servicing the Blind as a guide dog, he was that good & easy to train.

Labrador cross retriever but more labrador, my favourite type of dogs are labs:D, hope they sorted his hornyness out tho a bit of a cassenova with the lady doggys our way so much did run off once or twice to howl sing outside poor ladydoggy owners house :o

Aye had other dogs like that or liked humping legs or ripping house to shreads, the only dog i got was the lab from the kennals whom i expected to behave badly or have reason for it to be un wanted was the best ever than those that i rehomed from established households for a brief while, now just have fish & birds - a lot easier & less hard work:D

I have a jack russel, she is only a baby (i think she is 1 now), but omg she is just a pain, i never have time for her, it was a present but then i started working more hours and at the end the poor dog is left alone most time, i feel sorry for her, i love dogs is just that they need someone who can really look after them, i love her to bits she is great, my poor little doggy

There is one on Dill Hall lane that the owners need to rehome, they are moving and can't take it, it is very lively and friendly, actually, it can be friendly to the point of nuisance, but given excercise and training could be a lovely little fellow.
