Yorkshire Terrier - WANTED

Anyone seen any advertised anywhere? let me know if you do
We are after a bitch, under 12 month old preferably but not really looking for a puppy.
Decided to get Max a mate, not planning on breeding them so it doesn't matter if we get one that has been spayed.

Nah, my hand, teeth a bit too sharp :D
No - he's Ok really, but he hates being on his own, I'ts not often he's left with no-one in though, even when we are in with him, he has to be within about 6 feet of you, the house is open plan but if we go into the back room bit he won't stay in the front

Make sure they get along with each other before you take the plunge and buy one. My aunt had several yorkies and one of them was totally anti-social.

Just had a look ads Davo69.
1st ad are minature's, I should have said in the original post that I want a medium/standard size, minatures always seem very shaky/terrified when I see them.
2nd are pups
But thanks anyway, I'll keep an eye on that site

I will do, should be OK if I get one about the same age and they grow up together

Thanks, are they puppys though??
we "might" go for a pup but really thinking of one about the same age as Max (About 10 month) Max is really playful and I think he may be a bit too boisterous for a 6-8 week old Pup

I will get her number and you have a chat with her: she may be of help: one can only ask :-) she's got one called Max too:

I do if it can be kept that way, but when you have a dog that doesn't like being brushed the only option is clipping, doesn't mind a bath and his back being brushed, but hates his belly, legs and face being brushed

We have that problem with the cat, except its teeth are bigger than a yorkie :D

Meet Max and Molly, 2 Yorkies,Molly's the one with floppy ears and Max is the one with ears that stick up, he's also the one that's not camera shy :D
It's hard enough taking a photo of one lively pup, damn site harder trying to get the attention of both of them together
Photo's a bit deceiving, Max looks bigger cause he's sat up, they are almost the same size, Molly happen an inch taller but it's not much

There great with kids, dare say you'll get the odd one that isn't but all them I have come across and the owners I have spoke to all say what a good dog they are, when the kids come round to our house max thinks he's got 3 new playmates, you've to watch the kids more than watch the dogs, only small and fragile and could easily do a lot of damage if they stood on the dog

Mrs H says we might have to get another one
But I can assure you we're not :D
Reason - Max was all for me, always sat wherever I was, always followed me about etc, Mrs H thought when Molly arrived we would have one each - think she was feeling a little jealous
Guess who Molly has taken too
I don't think she's too pleased :D

Think your right about the collar, she's already seen the red and pink ones with studs in, she's just got a black one in now that we had as a spare, the red dog tag is being engraved, bone shaped like Max's.
I'm not too bothered about the collar though, just hope she doesn't plan on putting one of them bows in its hair, sure I aint taking it out with a bow on its head

EDIT - Must also mention I had no say in calling her Molly, didn't get a say in calling Max either come to think of it :)

Had to do it, Molly will be coming into season very soon and she's far too young to have pups, no way we can keep them apart for 3 week so this was the only option

Ooops
Well that didn't work.
Had had the operation, Molly come into season about 3 or 4 days later, Max still felt like using his tackle even though he'd just had the operation.
What do I do? - let him do what he wants, after all he he can't do any damage can he? and he'll probably not be interested next time she comes into season - well you can't go through life without even doing it once can you :D
But Molly's getting bigger
I start reading about it and find that they can still be fertile for around two to three weeks after having the operation

Keep an eye out for the Yorkie pups for sale thread about mid/end May when they are estimated to be around 8 week old
