They are quite expensive from there

Ya best bet is probably trying to make your own up from things you find in charity shops

I think carl is talking about book characters. Same thing as my kids, they are doing it on Friday at school for book week.

It is things like Harry Potter, Draco malfoy, hmmmmmm lol, that is the only 2 characters I can remember, and I don't know where the leaflet has gone

But it's anything to do with books.

What ever happened to making your own fancy dress costumes.......
Everyone buys them now, it used to be great fun making the costumes (and the kids loved doing it too - ive helped with my neices years back), but saying that, i dont know how many of them would last if you were to wear them all day lol

Re: in need of

I remember a few years back spending hours making a "belle" dress for my neice out of tissue paper and card, we all loved doing it and it did look good when it was finished and best of all she won the competition at school. I would call it hard work, it was awkward but well worth it. It would seem those days are gone :(

Re: in need of

Too much like hard work aint it

Also, other kids would probably question who/what it is
If it aint got a name or a picture then it aint the real thing:rolleyes:

It's fun though, that was the thing but true, if you havent got a shop bought one then maybe these days they would be mocked. Its a shame but I think its how things are now
