Free washing machine

I have a Hoover Quattro System (1100 spin speed) washing machine to give away.
It is over 6 years old but still works.
I do hear a rattle when the top spin speed is used, so suspect that an old bra wire is lost in there somewhere. I have been using a spin speed of 800 or less and there is no rattle. There are no leaks so the drum hasn't been damaged.
I live up a flight of 13 concrete steps, so if you want it you will need 2 strong men and transport.
Please let me know within next 2 days so that I can complete my order for the new machine

I got rid of ours thro Hyndburn used furniture store, they turned up with a van, driver & two young blokes who looked liked they'd been sentence to comunity service.

Thanks for reminding me of that option - I did give them a dining table and chairs last year, and agree that the lads were a tad 'dishevilled' :) - but they can't wear whistles and flutes when carting second hand stuff (some of which is probably pretty grubby)

(besides that - I recall a member here saying he worked for them ;))

I will give members here the option of it until Monday evening before I consider the other ways to dispose of it - another option is Freecycle - will only pay for disposal if all other ways fail.
I know I could ask for council collection but can't do with having it hanging about for weeks on the landing outside my door, and I haven't the stamina to put it there

I'll agree about whistles & flutes, but it was their faces, attitude & bearing that made me think that. Ever noticed a lot of teenagers these days wear an expression hoping they are saying I'm hard.

It is now awaiting collection tonight - took less than an hour to give away on Freecycle
