im after buying an xbox 360 for my boyfriend

just woudered if anybody had one goin cheap before i spend a fortune on one from the shops

you can pick up a 2nd hand one from gamestation for around the 150 mark with a 60gb hard drive or 110 without a HD

blackburn have quite afew in stock i know accy are out

Are you not better off with a new one with a 12 month guarantee?

Given the inherent design problem with the Xbox360 I would not spend that much on a 2nd hand one & would go for one that still has a warranty I.E. new from the shops.

dont buy a second hand one , even with teh guarentee to repair teh red ring of death problem it will more than likely re-occur eventually

get a new one which has the new design and less likely to suffer red ring of death

the ones with gamestation cmoe with a 12 month instore warranty and you can buy extra warranty whereby if you do get ring of death you can just return instore for a replacement.

Another thing, get a guarantee that it has not been banned by Microsoft.

Some have been chipped, detected by Microsoft and the Xbox banned.

It all works well apart from that, you get it home - plug it in - play a game.
Then when you try Xbox Live a little later you find it won't work online :(

Some don't bother to mention this when they PX them etc.
