Re: Washing Machine
ok no probs, i rent mine, £4 a week, its great cos they fix it if it breaks
|
Re: Washing Machine
yeah i used to rent mine from a place in Clayton, until i got this washer given about 5 years ago, had the one from Clayton for about 8 years and never ever had to get them out to fix it, they where good

Re: Washing Machine
ive had them out once and the washer had died so they replaced it the same day.

Re: Washing Machine
There's an unfurnished flat that needs furnishing sharpish... would one of you kind ladies be good enough to share the contact details of the washing machine rental gaff? :)

Re: Washing Machine
the one i used to get mine from is called 'web rentals' they work from a garage at the back of the Forts Arms in Clayton

Re: Washing Machine
a few yrs ago my washer stopped spinning which is often caused by the brushes inside....u can buy them on Oak St and there only a few quid
|
Re: Washing Machine
I used to rent, many moons ago, from Vogue Electrics in Gt Harwood. signed up with them at a time when I had absolutely no cash and needed a washer urgently. no problems with their service, but they were never new machines, in fact quite old.
Nowadays I wouldn't consider renting. You can buy a second hand washer for under a hundred quid, often with a six month guarantee. Six months rental at 4 quid a week is over that, and you could get many more months after that for free. The one I have now has been working fine for over 2 years. The only brand new one I bought about 15 years ago broke down several times during the warranty, and then again just afterwards. :( |

You can pay £69.99 for 3 years breakdown cover, that brings the total to £156.49 + £69.99 = £226.15 £4 per week for 3 years = £624 So over 3 years you would save £397.85 which is £2.55 per week. |

Has it stop going round altogether or does it work except when it comes to a spin cycle. Had it emptied or did it still have water in it. |
Re: Washing Machine
i put it on a cycle and it washes, but just doesnt spin, i'm having to wring the clothes out by hand before i put them in the dryer or on the line

Re: Washing Machine
i know what your saying Emma, its having all that cash up front to fork out for a washer, was in the same boat myself, if i hadnt have got this washer given i would still be renting
