Here we have a fantastic gigabit switch, 24 port +2 combi ports (sfp, for fibre optic connection).
This is a layer 2 switch and it supports vlans, spanning tree, snmp v1, jumbo frames etc.etc.

This switch retails at around £400, you can pick one up on ebay for £200 - I want £100 for it...
