Holiday accessory (Euro Lead)

Have you ever gone on holiday in Europe and found that some times in your self catering apartment the 2 pin 220V socket is just out of reach of a flat surface so you can’t do your ironing easily? So you have to do your ironing on your suitcase on the floor near the socket with your adaptor plugged into the socket.
Also have you found that in your apartment the 2 pin 220V socket is just out of reach of a mirror or a window making it hard work drying your hair?
Well for the last 8year I’ve been using a 2M-extension lead I made myself with a 2 pin European plug on one end and a UK 3 pin socket on the other which has given me that extra length. All I have to do is plug into the 2 pin 220V socket with my extension lead and plug what ever into the other end for example, iron, hair dryer, fan, radio etc without having to use an adaptor or change the plugs over. Not for getting to reset my appliance to the correct voltage of that country.
When I get back home from my holiday and unpack my suitcase I leave the lead in my suitcase for the next time otherwise I may end up forgetting to take it with me the next time I go away.
A friend of mine has had one for 4 years and last year they forgot to take it with them. He told me that his wife felt lost without it.
If anyone fancy’s one, let me know by pming me and I’ll see about getting you one.

Thanks Sara.
I’m glad it’s doing its job. Surprising just how handy it can be.
It wont be long before you’ll feel that you cannot go on holiday without it. lol
Enjoy the rest of your time in Turkey.

that is a good idea. I'd never have thought of that. I've already been on holiday though so won't be needing one for ages

I can vouch that they are absolutely fantastic. If it was a toss up between my hairdryer or my lead, i would leave the hairdryer at home.
