Wanted: Viamichelin Sat Nav DVD/CD - help!
 

Hi,

I know this is a major long shot! I have a Viamichelin x-950 sat nav and i have lost the DVD/CD that came with it - it has the software on it that sets up the link with your pc. I think that the software is pretty much the same across all models of Viamichelin sat navs - does anyone have a copy of this cd/dvd from another viamichelin sat nav or could make me a copy or know of a solution? I cannot update the sat nav without it and would be eternally grateful for someone solving my problem!

Hiya - tried that site before - it lets you download the manual and updates - but you cant download the original dvd software to actually use the updates - i also emailed them through this site and there online store closed in 2008 and they no longer suply dvd/cd's - hence the note on accyweb.

Hi Lyn........I've got cd for X-960...you can borrow it if you want and give it a try.

Hiya

thanks for the offer - just been able to get hold of what should be the correct one - ive been told that the x-950 cd is specific to the model - but also been told they are all the same!
Cd should arive tuesday hopefully but if that one doesnt work i will let you know and borrow yours if you dont mind - many thanks for the offer

p.s. only managed to get this one because someone was selling a faulty x-950 unit on Ebay that came with the cd and everything else - fingers crossed it will work!

You could also try cnet or filehippo etc, they have all sorts of software.
