Not that I want them at all (I have thousands myself) but what type, SMT or PTH, any particular value ranges etc?

If you find a really good home for them (I.E. a school etc) please PM me & let me know
as I have my own collection of components that need a new home.

Noooo, dont do that.

What sort are they?
Leaded for through hole components or surface mount?
What do the boxes say?

Have you tried your local high schools?
They usually teach basic electronics & can often use them.
