Electric Guitar For Sale

Epiphone Les Paul Standard in Cherry Sunburst

Pickups: Alnico Classic Humbuckers
Hardware: Chrome
Scale: 24.75 inch
Nut Width: 1.68 inch
Neck: Set, Mahogany
FB/Inlay: Rosewood/Trapezoid
Binding: Body and fingerboard
Body Material: Mahogany
Top: Maple
Tailpiece: Stopbar
Grover Tuners
2 Volume and 2 tone controls with 3-way toggle pickup selector

The guitar has such a lovely rich sound. I've been playing it through a Fender Blues Deluxe and I adore the sound I get out of it. Only selling it as it doesn't get gigged these days due to me being all acoustic & stuff. It's too pretty to just sit there!

I'll throw in the case (not just a gig-bag), a strap, strap locks & a set of new strings for you.

£250 the lot. Pick up only (Accrington Milnshaw area). Cash on pick up. Will not go lower than £250. Serious offers only, please.

Will send photos on request. :)

Sounds pretty good does that shaker, not a bad little machine by the sound of it

It really is a lovely guitar, jaysay. It's with a heavy heart that I'm letting it go to be honest. It just isn't fair on the thing to have it sit there ungigged.

You get the odd snob coming along saying things like, "oh, well, it isn't a Gibson is it...". But I Pepsi challenge you to find someone who has played both Epiphone & Gibson versions of the LP Standard with an open mind and says that the Epiphone doesn't at least hold it's own. This isn't just some kind of cheapo copy. It's a lovely piece of kit for all kinds of players. If you have thousands of pounds lying around, then go and get a Gibson (and protect it with your life). But if, like me, you want a versatile, durable, sweet-sounding guit-box that is pretty as hell and doesn't demand a second mortgage from you, then this is the one for you.

As shown in the package & the price, I just want this guitar to go to a good home. Hopefully I'll find one here. :)

I knocked about on the group scene in the 60s and 70s and saw some nice machines to boot, and lads that could play them too, I have a Fender Strat (Japanese not American) I've never actually seen an Epiphone, except in music shops but have had hold of a Gibson Les Paul, my other half's son has one, nice machine. One guitar I did like was a Rickenbacker think it was a 620, great sound too, the Burns Black Bison wasn't bad either, but I ain't seen one for years although I know they are still going
